The journey to the ocean isn't an easy one for a sea turtle. Nowadays, it's a lot harder. 

As the waters increase in temperature, so do the turtle eggs. Higher temperatures can affect the sex of the sea turtle causing the eggs to hatch as females. This slow extinction is coupled with smaller and smaller beaches for turtles to nest and feed on. If salt water reaches the egg, it can corrode and damage the shells significantly hurting the survival rate of the turtles. In the face of tremendous adversity, sea turtles persist on their near-impossible journey.
